How to move off Lovable Cloud to an EU-hosted app

Lovable Cloud is convenient, but it's vendor-hosted and US-infra-backed (Supabase/AWS → CLOUD-Act exposure even in an EU region). Lovable's own docs note there's no automated transfer off Lovable Cloud. Here's the manual path to a genuinely EU-resident app you own.

1. Get your code out

Export via GitHub sync. This is the part Lovable supports cleanly.

2. Get your data out

Export your Supabase tables. There's no one-click Lovable Cloud migration, so you move the data yourself.

3. Recreate on DevBX (EU)

Describe the app to DevBX; it builds on EU infrastructure (Hetzner) with the SQLite data layer and auth wired in.

4. Verify residency

Your code, your database (a SQLite file), and — with the Mistral option — your inference all stay in the EU. See our EU/GDPR page.

FAQ

Is Lovable Cloud GDPR/CLOUD-Act safe?
Lovable is an EU company, but Lovable Cloud's Supabase/AWS backing means data can fall under US CLOUD-Act jurisdiction even in an EU region. Moving to DevBX on Hetzner makes the data genuinely EU-resident.
Is there an automated Lovable Cloud export?
No — Lovable's own docs note there's no automated transfer off Lovable Cloud. You export code via GitHub and data via Supabase, then recreate on DevBX.
