Here's the part most builders don't spell out: Lovable is a Swedish company, but its backend runs on Supabase/AWS. US-incorporated infrastructure falls under the US CLOUD Act, which can compel access to data regardless of where the server physically sits — including an EU region. v0 (Vercel) and most others are US-incorporated outright.

So "hosted in Frankfurt" is not the same as "outside US jurisdiction." For genuine EU residency, the company, the infrastructure, and ideally the AI inference all need to be in the EU.
